The new world of testing is automated visual testing but leveraging this technique isn’t as straight forward as one would think. Learn how the WebDriverIO framework supercharged with Percy.io makes the transition into automated visual testing easier and smoother.
This talk is centered around educating development teams on the benefits of visual testing and how easy it is to automate the process using the Node.js testing framework of WebDriverIO and the visual testing platform of Percy.io. This talk will also focus on how development teams (developers, QA) and members of the business side of a development team (project managers, product owners) can partake in the process of visual validation of a software application and how both sides can collaborate using the Percy.io platform. The content of this talk is for persons of all levels ranging from beginner to advanced and does not require any prior technical knowledge.
About the Speaker
Orandi Harris is a Software Development Engineer in Test at RealDecoy Global Services. For the past three years, he has utilized Node.js to create automated test suites for various web and mobile applications. He’s committed to the enhancement of Jamaica through the advancement of technology. He is a big advocate for the visual testing process in Jamaica and enjoys sharing information with others or engaging in conversation with others about how technology can improve the quality of life.
